Heaven Is For Real by Todd Burpo

" you might as well tell God what you think. He already knows it anyway".

This book is about a little boy gets very sick and dies for a moment . Then he comes back from heaven because of his father's prayer and remembers everything he saw there.

The above line is actually one of my favorite lines from the book. Its's hard for me to say whether I like this book or not. I, being a very religious person myself, wants to believe it so hard and does it for  most of the book. But sometimes I do question it for sure. I would say this book is about the faith of the reader. While reading this , I remembered so many times in my life where I needed God and found him there for me. So I never questioned the faith of the writer. May be the facts... But I can read it again for sure  :).

A Child Called "IT" by Dave Pelzer

“Inside, my soul became so cold I hated everything. I even despised the sun, for I knew I would never be able to play in its warm presence. I cringed with hate whenever I heard other children laughing, as they played outside. My stomach coiled whenever I smelled food that was about to be served to somebody else, knowing it wasn't for me.”

Goodness , I have never read a book like this before, I went crazy reading this. I cringed at every abuse that his mom did and hated to read whats going to happen next and I still couldn't keep it down because I so wanted to know what happened next. I  could not imagine that this could happen to a human being and this could be inflicted by another human being. It was the story of a little boy who was abused (its the smallest word for what he faced) by his own mother. I still don't know why ? This is the book which I don't know whether to recommend or not to recommend to  other people.

Deep Down True by Juliette Fay

" Were you sick?" he asked. "I hope it wasn't some fad diet."
" The Divorce Diet,"she joked humorlessly. "Not a fad, exactly - more of an epidemic."
" I'm so sorry," he said gently. "how are you?"
"Okay, I guess."It appeared he was waiting for more, so she added, "I'm still flossing."
"Good," he said. " Because Nothing's more important than a proper dental hygiene when life starts throwing punches."

I liked this book , it was a simple story of a woman , a mom of two , handling divorce. It was a simple book ,still it said a lot emotionally . I did finish it in two days because I always wanted to know what happened next. It also felt like a sweet romance story at times . Me as a reader kept asking the lady, pick him ,pick him. So interesting, never boring. Liked it.
